Spider veins are small, twisted blood vessels that are visible through the skin. They may be red, purple, or blue and most often appear on the legs or face. They take their name from their striking spiderweb pattern. Although not a large threat to your health, they can be troublesome and unsightly.
Sclerotherapy involves the injection of an irritant solution into the spider and reticular veins. The solution causes the vein walls to "stick together". Blood flow is routed to other veins, and the body in time absorbs the abnormal vein.
Stockings (provided) are worn for a few days to compress the vein walls together during the healing phase. Procedures take 30-45 minutes depending on the anatomy being treated and multiple sessions are needed.

Although the treatment works immediately, it may take 6-12 weeks to see full effects and resolution of you veins. In fact, typically they will look worse before they look better.
This is completely dependent on the number of veins you wish to have treated. After initial treatment, we will schedule a follow up in 6-8 weeks for repeat evaluation.
The average cost in the U.S. for one treatment of spider veins is $443.
We truly value our members and offer your 1st session for just $225 and each follow up treatment for $150.
There is some discomfort with the procedure but most tolerate it VERY WELL. A tiny needle is used to access the vein but most describe it as a "tiny pinch".
There is no downtime following the procedure. You will be asked to wear compression sleeves for a week after you procedure but you can return to your normal activities.
