DIRECT PRIMARY CARE EXPLAINED
DPC, or Direct Primary Care, is a membership model of health care.
For one flat, low monthly fee patients have unlimited access to their provider for primary care and most urgent care needs, including annual physicals and well-child exams, along with many other additional, yet affordable, extra benefits.
Benefits included in your membership:
- Unlimited access to your provider
- All in office visits
- Acute/Sick visits
- Well-child checks/Sports Physicals
- Annual physicals including gyn exam*
- Annual lab work ($450 value)*
- Access to FREE consults with 120 specialist
- $20 Rapid COVID testing
- $15 Flu testing
- Chronic disease management
- Medication Management and Prescribing
- Telehealth visits
- Nutrition Counseling
- Discounted Laboratory Rates (see below)
- Discounted Radiology Rates
- Assistance collaborating with specialist
*Annual physical/labs will not be done within the first 90 days of membership.
Commonly Treated Chronic Disease and Acute Health Concerns:
The short list of procedures/testing included in your membership:
- Joint/tendon injections
- Trigger point injection
- Ingrown toenail removal
- Laceration repair
- Skin biopsy *
- Pap Smear*
- Skin tag removal
- Irrigation and Debridement
- Ear wax irrigation removal
- Nebulizer treatments
- EKG
- Urinalysis
- Rapid Strep Test
- Urine pregnancy test
- Fecal occult blood
- Pulse Oximetry
- Basic Wound Care
- Splinting of Injuries
* Additional cost for pathology
We do a lot, but we can't do everything... we do NOT cover:
- Medical imaging & Lab work
- Significantly discounted rates available to members
- Surgery or procedure performed outside of our office
- Cost of immunizations
- Obstetrical care and delivery
- Durable Medical Equipment (crutches, walkers, immobilizers/splints, etc.)
- Prescription & Injectable medications
- Hospitalization or ER/urgent care visits
- Cost of injectable medications
- Initial evaluation and diagnosis of ADD/ADHD
