A Direct Primary Care Clinic in the Heart of Thorndale
By late 2023, Courtney Paulsen, owner of Country Meadows Clinic, knew something had to change. Despite her deep dedication to her patients, the nonstop battles with insurance—shrinking reimbursements, endless paperwork, and mounting stress—were making it nearly impossible to provide the care she believed in.
That’s when she connected with Monica McKitterick of Impact Family Wellness. After many heartfelt conversations, support from her family, and a leap of faith, Courtney made the difficult but courageous decision to step away from running her own clinic.
In March 2024, she closed the doors of Country Meadows Clinic, and Impact Family Wellness officially opened in Thorndale. Today, Courtney continues serving the same community she always has—but now as a provider and fully focused on what matters most: caring for her patients.

This is how healthcare is supposed to be delivered! IMO, Courtney Paulsen is a rock star. Having a real relationship with your clinician is straight out of the 1950’s. . . I know, I was there. If primary care medicine is going to survive, it will be when there are real relationships between patients and clinicians. And, Courtney never diagnosed me with a CPT code and no insurance provider even knows that I had a medical visit. This is what real patient confidentiality is about!
